Press release and images on Dilmah group to host Tea Appreciation event at Kurumba Maldives from Dilmah

Sri Lankan family tea company, Dilmah in collaboration with SIMDI Group is set to host ‘Dilmah Real Tea Appreciation Day’ at the Kurumba Maldives this July.

The event scheduled for 20th July will take place from 6:00pm till 8:00pm at Kurumba Maldives.

“Son of Dilmah Founder, Dilhan C Fernando will share the wonders of one herb that has touched the lives of individuals around the world - beyond their palate! Discover tea like never before; from learning why Dilmah Teas are manufactured in the artisanal style, to tasting each cup of tea with Son of Dilmah Founder; unravel the terroir of tea and explore a range of varieties formed by nature, as you feast your eyes and appetite with food and tea pairings,” SIMDI said in a statement regarding the event.

They further asserted that it has been 20 years since SIMDI Group introduced Dilmah brand to the Maldivian market. Since then Dilmah has been one of the top choices of the tea admirers of Maldives.

Due to the high demand of Dilmah tea, SIMDI Consumer Products (CPD) has been expanding the availability of new varieties and flavours to the market.
